Mac OS X Lion Opens Microsoft Office Documents in Preview

Apple has finally pushed the much awaited feature in the Mac OS X Lion which allows the users to open Microsoft Office documents in the preview. This is an advantage for those users who are more concerned about viewing and printing files rather than performing editing. Now, they don’t need to install the software for small purposes.

Preview has been enhanced to support full screen support and iPad like buttons. Quick look offers new buttons for opening documents in preview. Also, it has got new PDF annotations in additions to simple text, simple text, colored lines, arrows and rectangles or circle outlines. People can now annotate with filled shapes, outlined text, and cartoon-like speech or thought bubbles.

It has been already reported that Apple may add some handwriting signature capture for inserting into documents. Have you noticed any other changes ? Let’s us know in the comment section.
